Gym.
Gym
I admit I haven't been gym-ing as often I should.
Yes I am sorry for the white lies I told.
Well sorry to myself & you.
Scenario 1 'Gym' Tuesday
- Cleaning the bathroom
- Cleaned room
- Rid of all things unimportant
- Technically I sort of 'gym'-ed at home cleaning
up & thinking where I can put stuff
Scenario 2 'Gym' Wednesday
- Was ready and prepped for gym
- Drove to BU8
- Surprise Surprise!
- I FORGOT MY KEYCARD ACCESS
Conclusion, I went to gym I brisk walked to and fro
Centrepoint BU. (I did sweat, in my defence)
Which in the end led me to The Pie Thing at D'sara Uptown.
Met up with Ju. Cos he wanted to go gym to but this Mr. Genius'
keycard access got barred cos he did not pay his fees!
He called me up asking if I could let him into gym, but I told him
I couldn't enter cos well, I left my key card at home. And I thought
I could rely on him to enter into gym.
We are jokes. I can assure you this was not the first time this
sort of thing happened.
So since The Pie Thing was having a 'Green Day' promo.
Read it on their fb page.
We tucked ourselves into these bad boys;
Chilli Chicken Mashacre (pun intended)
- with green peas, mash taters & gravy
- plus a drink (Bitter Lemon)
Something I have not tried from A Pie Thing, the filling of this pie
came as a surprise to me as it wasn't at all spicy as I would deem
a chilli pie would. The taste was overall savoury and slightly tangy
something that would keep you wanting to go for more bite to
figure out the miscellaneous flavours in that pie filling.
Green Day promo;
Matcha Latte (this was one of the better tasting Matcha lattes I've tasted)
Who'd thought of heading to a Pie Thing for a good cup of Matcha Latte.
Green Curry Fish Pie! (This was my 2nd time having this, still loving it)
It was creamy, coconutty, and hearty yet light cos it was white fish
instead of poultry (chicken/pork) which could end up really filling
so fish was a good call here.
And for the sweet ending, which we both shared;
The Green Tea Smore Pie!
The baby marshies were so cute and bruleéd to perfection as it had
a crunchy bite yet a gooey texture within it, the sweetness and the
bittersweet taste of the Matcha cream was a match made in pie
heaven accompanied by the crisp texture of their signature crust.
I have never felt so guilty after polishing all of these clean yet alone
skipped gym wednesdays.
Great experience overall!
