Ipoh.
Had a short day trip to the small town of Ipoh, Perak.
It was a lovely day indeed. (Despite the small argument
at the starting of the day, simmered down quite quickly)
(probably due to lack of sleep; slept terribly late the night
before, did some assignments, also I get excited travelling
with him; *laughs at self*)
Weather was perfect albeit the scorching sun during
midday while we scavenge for Ipoh cookies & what not.
But I would rather that as compared to dark
clouds, thunder, and lighting followed by thunderstorm.
Although weather forecasted heavy rain around 4-5pm.
Prayers for a good day trip were answered.
First stop was, breakfast;
Iced white coffee, Thean Chun's Horfun & Egg custard.
The wait was around 45minutes in total!
I didnt mind because I was right beside my special
someone. We finished the meal in less than 10minutes!
Walked over to have coffee at the birth of Old Town
White Coffee, Sin Yoon Loong. Which was unfortunately
closed for the day, but fret not we had Chee Cheong Fun
at the shop right beside it, Sun Yuan Foong
(names are quite similar!)
Stopped by the front green open space in front
of St. Michael's School.
Went to buy Ipoh biscuits & goodies from
several places;
1.
2.
Nam Cheong Dry Curry Noodles were
Pasir Pinji.
Bercham.
Small lorongs during the Japanese Occupation.
Had a glimpse of his childhood area at Bercham, single storey house.
No.22.
Wantan Mee at that Stadium Food Court place.
Passed this SJK(T) Simee. Tamil school.
Collected pre ordered Egg Tarts at the
TBC.
